Startup celebrity criticizes lawsuit by Blackberry
A small company, led by presenter American Idol , Ryan Seacrest, which manufactures keyboards compatible with iPhone says the lawsuit lacks merit by Blackberry. The Typo Products, said he still plans to launch the product, which is coupled to smartphones from Apple, at a trade show this week and start selling keyboards at the end of this month.
“Although we respect the Blackberry and its intellectual property, we believe the company’s claims against Typo lacks merit and intend to defend the case vigorously,” the company said in a statement on Monday.
The smartphone maker claims that the keyboard Typo is an attempt to copy their distinctive keyboards on other devices.
