Ex-CEO of BlackBerry and Alicia Keys
For those unaware, the famous singer Alicia Keys has become the Global Creative Director of BlackBerry in early 2013. It was one of those signings that do not make sense and seem to be merely marketing, having become an almost common practice it. A more recent example is that of Ashton Kutcher that after playing the role of Steve Jobs in a movie, became an officer of Lenovo, for some reason.
But if she actually did something or not by the Canadian company, we will never know. What we know is that from the 30th of January she will not take over the position, according to a tweet from CBC News.
Not much else to say about it, so stick with a song of the singer. “Girl on Fire” seems appropriate, being that she has just been fired. Tum Dum Tss!
