One of the strategies of the BlackBerry to survive against difficult period faced by the company’s focus on emerging countries. The company has partnered with Foxconn to manufacture its upcoming smartphones and one of these models cost less than $ 200, said the interim CEO of the Canadian, John Chen, during a roundtable discussion at CES.

According to the executive, the BlackBerry will launch at least two handsets this year, but the major focus will be the same in the corporate market.

Chen made it clear that the company will not give up on introducing new products to the final consumer. But, apparently, the company will not try to compete with the most popular high-end products like the BlackBerry tried to Z10.

the next 18 months, the BlackBerry will work especially on devices and corporate services. The recent departure of Alicia Keys from the position of Global Creative Director reflects this positioning.

With the new strategy, Chen expects the BlackBerry back to profitability in fiscal 2016. [CNET]
