Toronto – The American singer Alicia Keys will leave the BlackBerry at the end of January, along with about 40% of the labor force of the Canadian manufacturer
The BlackBerry will lay off about 40% of workers due to poor performance that got in the last quarter. The singer Alicia Keys, who has held the position of creative director of the multinational since the beginning of 2013, will also leave his post later this month.
In the last quarter the BlackBerry obtained a record loss in its accounts, amounting to 4,400 million (approximately EUR 3200 million). Over the past five years, the market share of the Canadian company fell from 70% to 5% which presently.(c) NNP Portuguese News Network
