Lenovo may acquire Blackberry - Tecmundo

 Lenovo can get the Blackberry

According to The Wall Street Journal, Lenovo can buy the maker of Blackberry smartphones. According to the newspaper, the Chinese company has signed an agreement with no obligation to study the books of the Blackberry.

Earlier this year, rumors about a possible acquisition of the Canadian company Lenovo have already been mentioned as an executive of the Chinese company cited the name of Blackberry when he revealed to be studying about the opportunities in the sector.

While at the time

Lenovo denied the rumors, the Blackberry is currently looking for a buyer, and a Canadian company called Fairfax Financial came to offer $ 4.7 billion for the manufacturer – offer that seems to have been gone for water below after the value of the shares of Blackberry have fallen well below the amount offered.

Currently, Lenovo already has a smartphone own division, responsible for the manufacture of devices based on Android and sold primarily in China. With the acquisition of Blackberry, Lenovo might be interested in the experience of the Canadian manufacturer in the development of software and hardware to assist its entry into the North American market.
