Google and Samsung may buy BlackBerry - Tecnologia.com.pt

The BlackBerry announced in September that the consortium Canadian Fairfax Financial company had proposed to its acquisition by 3.5 billion euros .

Apparently the company was not satisfied with the offer and sent the main global competitors one proposed primary concern in the hope of finding a new agreement.

‘s intentions BlackBerry were revealed by Reuters. The company has received proposals for Samsung, Google, LG and Cisco, but it is unclear whether the proposals for the acquisition relate to the whole company or just a part of the business, like Microsoft’s with Nokia.

During the next week, the BlackBerry will meet with companies to know whether there is any proposal interesting and more convenient than the one presented by Fairfax Financial. The failure in sales of smartphones dictated sales decline nor with the recent launches the company was able to recover. Now one of the companies that most mobile phones sold in the late 90s and early new millennium can simply disappear.

Before announcing the sale of the company, BlackBerry announced it would lay off 4,500 employees. Apparently the offer from Fairfax Financial does not meet expectations and now the BlackBerry is demand and new buyers.
