The company had signaled that it would release the app earlier this month, but turned back after a version for Android leaked ahead of schedule.
According to BlackBerry, about 1 million users of Android and iOS 1 million would be using a version not officially released by the company.
However, those who download the app from today need to wait for a “virtual queue” to use it. After installing BBM, you need to enter your e-mail and wait for contact from releasing BlackBerry using the program.
According to Blackberry, users who have already made a record directly on the site BBM Messenger will not need to wait in line and be able to use the app immediately.
For those who remain in the queue, there are no details on how long need to wait until the application is released for use. The company advises users to track the movement of releases via Twitter the company.
