executives integrate a growing group of talent assembled by John Chen since the executive joined the BlackBerry as chief executive last month.
In
BlackBerry, James Mackey will be responsible for procurement as vice president of corporate development and strategic planning, while Mark Wilson was named senior vice president of marketing.
Mackey was previously head of corporate development at SAP, where he led over 40 acquisitions, before joining OpenText Corp..
Wilson last year joined Avaya as vice president of marketing, after working many years at Sybase.
“I’ve worked a lot with them in the past and have the utmost respect for the experience and achievements of both,” Chen said in a statement.
“developed near and trust between us that will allow us to manage with cohesion necessary changes to reshape the BlackBerry relationships,” added the chief executive, who was appointed to replace Thorsten Heins in November.
