Toronto – The Canadian multinational BlackBerry inked a deal with Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn, this Friday, December 20th, for a period of five years with a view to launching equipment in emerging countries.
The BlackBerry did a five-year agreement with the electronic equipment manufacturer Foxconn, which will allow you to turn to markets like Indonesia and other developing countries, according to the trade press.
The contract is for the development and manufacture of a smartphone aimed at these markets, which should arrive next year.
The initiative took place on Friday, the same day they were reported corresponding to the last quarter of the BlackBerry, closed in November, indicating a loss of EUR 3.2 billion values. However the value of the shares of the Canadian company has suffered an increase of around 3%.
