

James S. Mackey is the new executive vice president of corporate development and strategic planning, with years of experience in strategies for business growth. Mark Wilson is now the new vice president of marketing and has experience in brand building and integration of advertising.
“Jim and Mark bring extensive experience and leadership required to assist in our transformation,” said John Chen CEO of BlackBerry in a statement. “I worked with both in the past and have the utmost respect for their experiences and achievements, and we are developing near and trust with others, which will allow us to make necessary changes to restructure the BlackBerry few relationships,” he explains.Before coming to BlackBerry, Mackey was senior vice president of corporate development at Open Text Corp., and head of corporate development at SAP, where he developed and led the global industry mergers and acquisitions of the company, including more 40 acquisitions.
Wilson comes from Avaya, where he led the transition of business marketing for consumer advice. Previously, he was senior vice president of marketing at Sybase, besides having work experience at AT & T and KPMG.
