[BlackBerry and Foxconn will launch a new smartphone based on ... - Xpert Mobile

The BlackBerry inked a five-year agreement with Foxconn to produce their devices. As part of the plan of the new CEO, John Chen, to regain lost market. The new strategy aims to reach markets with high growth potential launching low cost handsets, the method has worked for companies such as Nokia and the Lumia 520 and Motorola with Moto G.

BlackBerry CEO confirmed that the handset will be released between March or April next year and who first arrive in Indonesia to be introduced after six or seven other markets shortly after the initial launch.

So far there is no information about the hardware on the device, but it is certain that it will come with BB10. Foxconn will be responsible for the complete fabrication of the hardware of the phone.
