BlackBerry have been trying to change, at least somewhat, their strategy to survive in this highly competitive market that has become mobile. One consequence of this is that we will not have the famous BlackBerry Live in 2014.
Instead of doing a big event, the BlackBerry will try to focus on smaller events to get get specific audiences. So which will it to talent, rather than trying to attract. However, it is clear that the BlackBerry will continue to have a presence in major events such as the Mobile World Congress and others. BlackBerry just over a month swapped CEO, announced that it would no longer be for sale and initiated a great exchange of several of its executives and board members. The cancellation BlackBerry Live 2014 is just one of several changes.
