BlackBerry Messenger coming soon to Galaxy line ... in Africa - Tecnoblog (Blog)

Perhaps the greatest asset of your BlackBerry is still affectionately nicknamed messaging service BBM. Long ago, they said that the service would come to iOS and Android. Now we have confirmation from Samsung saying that, yes, the application will arrive. It should appear in the Galaxy line of devices, we do not know exactly when. And for now, there are only plans to launch in Africa.

The list of locations is small, but as the release date has not yet been declared, other areas should be announced soon. Apparently, the development is in the final stage of an internal beta and should be released in late September at Play Store and shop owner from Samsung Apps.

BBM, if you do not remember, was once the favorite of the corporate world. However, as the BlackBerry itself, lost ground to newer designs that did similar things and even on different platforms. With the launch of BlackBerry 10, which marks the attempt to modernize the brand, the app gained the ability to upload videos and photos, as in competing applications.

For now, Nexus and iPhone continue without BBM

For now , Nexus and iPhone continue without BBM

If

before BBM was restricted to branded handsets, it can now be exclusive to Samsung Android. Even with the Galaxy line selling very well, maybe not the application should embrace just another manufacturer in order to more users and devices like Nexus 4 and the future Moto X. Like the iPhone version, since the project was announced, has not had any news.
