Blackberry did today the official launch of the top model of the company, the Blackberry Z10 in Brazil. Blackberry decided to create the Z10 to meet corporate audience that has become accustomed to using the company’s previous models for communication, but had to resort to a second smartphone, as a Android or iPhone to access a larger amount of applications not previously available on the platform.
From what we could see in a quick hands-on we did in the device, the Z10 is very fast and has a fairly fluid, and today has more than 100,000 apps in its store, the Blackberry World. What caught our attention is the 8 megapixel camera capable of shooting in Full HD ( 1920×1080 ), bringing a very robust control software known as Time Shift.
Although specifications
bring a bit outdated compared to new releases of competition, the Canadian operating system compensates for this lack of horsepower, bringing almost all the features found on most top of the line smartphones like NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, GPS and A-GPS (but not GLONASS ) and battery 1800 mAh , which, according to the company is able to endure a whole day unplugged.
John Stricker, director general of the Blackberry Brazil, showed some polling numbers of the company in relation to the growth of the mobile market. He estimates that the sector will double in three years and that the Blackberry has 42% of user preference to fill this demand.
