The Jefferies, whose recommendation to “buy” for the actions of the BlackBerry, said its findings were based on checks with leading operators and retailers of mobile devices in both countries, including Bell, Rogers and Telus in Canada, and Carphone Warehouse, Vodafone and Orange in Britain.

The BlackBerry hopes its new line of smartphones led by Z10 touchscreen device, which hit the market earlier this year, will help to regain market share lost to Apple’s iPhone and popular online Galaxy devices from Samsung Electronics Co, powered by the Android operating system from Google.
