A few days ago, the BlackBerry (former RIM) launched its newest smartphone, the Q5 .
Although the unit has been revealed, were not disclosed many details about configuration and measurements of the gadget. According to BlackBerry, the device came to join the line of cheaper devices, focusing on emerging markets.
The BlackBerry Q5 has 3.1 inch touchscreen and a physical keyboard below the screen QWERTY, which – according to the company – has been redesigned so that typing is easier. Will be sold three color options of the smartphone, which were white, red and black.
With this new release, the manufacturer intends to invest significantly in markets that are still developing and the lower classes, giving them the experience of the touch screen on a device cheaper.
Even though it has been said that the unit is over the line ‘cheap’ was not disclosed what will be its price. But it is known that the Q5 will be launched in Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
According to the website The Verge, the new gadget will also come with the company’s new operating system, BlackBerry 10 , bringing BBM Messenger, Story Maker, BlackBerry Time Shift and BlackBerry Hub. Other details about the smartphone were not disclosed.
