BBM, popular instant messaging service BlackBerry, which until now was only available to their own platform, is coming to other platforms, including Android and iOS. The announcement of the arrival of the service to other devices had been done in May this year by CEO, Thorsten Heins.
Now, one of the directors of BlackBerry, Sunil Lalvani, said during the launch event for the BlackBerry Q5 in India that the application will be available for Android by the end of the summer North American or is in September.
Lalvani Although not cited IOS, it is likely that BBM arrive simultaneously to the two platforms. For those who were anxiously waiting for the service, it should not take more than two months to appear.
Certainly Blackberry Messenger will be a major competitor to services that are already present across all platforms, such as Whatsapp it is already very popular in this market. So far, the BlackBerry has not indicated whether to launch a version of its app for Windows Phone.
