BlackBerry announced on Wednesday (29) the inauguration of the third BlackBerry Tech Center in Brazil.

The technology center is part of the BlackBerry academic support to students and mobile application developers, which aims to provide training, space and resources to help create and test new mobile applications.

“Brazil has one of the most active and passionate developer communities in the world, and there have been hundreds of applications to BlackBerry 10 developed here,” said the vice president of developer relations and ecosystem of BlackBerry, Alec Saunders. ” The new Tech Center will host students and entrepreneurs in São Paulo to become experts on the BlackBerry 10 platform and gain knowledge of opportunities in developing mobile applications. “
