BlackBerry launched on Tuesday, 25, a tool that promises to win corporate customers who use devices from rival companies like Apple, Samsung and other smartphones Android, Google’s operating system.

The service is called Secure Work Space (safe workspace) and allows businesses and government agencies BlackBerry customers manage data and applications used by employees working on their personal devices.
With the tool, the user makes a login in workspace and access the BlackBerry functions like email, contacts, calendar, document management and web browser. The system is controlled through the management platform BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES) 10, launched in January this year along with the operating system BlackBerry 10 devices and Z10, Q5 and Q10.

BlackBerry strategy is to ensure safety in the management of corporate data through the Secure Work Space. The service will reach the market later this summer and will help the company to regain its market space.
According to a report from Reuters , more than 60% of the 500 largest U.S. companies (from Fortune magazine’s list ) are testing or using the BES management system 10 .
According to BlackBerry, the installation of the management software BES 10 is free. Already the license to use the work tool Secure Work Space cost $ 99 per unit.
