According to a report from Bloomberg, Ford Motor Company can be planning to replace the operating system of your automotive infotainment system with the designation Sync .
A source from Bloomberg says that Ford is considering replacing Windows Microsoft operating system by QNX CAR platform BlackBerry . Everything indicates that the change will allow Ford to reduce licensing costs and improve the technology of the next Sync system.
The QNX CARthe BlackBerry platform is currently used in systems of automobiles for Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Porsche, Saab and Hyundai.
